Site Access Requires Valid Login
An portal is your organization's private
space on the web. To ensure your site remains private all members
must provide a valid login name and password to gain access to
your site.
Of course, you have the option to add extranet capabilities
to your site, in which people can have limited access to your
portal without providing a valid login name and password. The
site administrator can customize access
for each of the various applications to further limit access to
information.
In addition to the initial login, each member must
re-login after an 8-hour period of inactivity. This prevents
unauthorized users from accessing the site if a person leaves
their terminal without logging out of the portal.
